Your tasks
As a Project Manager in Sales (m/f/d), you are part of the international sales team and, together with the field sales team, ensure the best offer is prepared for our customers in the pharmaceutical sector. Your main tasks include:
- Analysing the tender documents of our customers
- Developing a technical solution concept for systems in the Life Science market (GMP and GLP environment) in collaboration with sales, engineering, production, and commercial departments
- Analysing technical and commercial risks and creating the evaluation matrix
- Preparing calculations and offers
- Participating in customer meetings (in-house, teleconferences, or on-site)
- Handing over to project execution (participation in kick-off meetings at the company or customer site)
- Coordinating with product management regarding frequent enquiries/market trends and defining new options for the price list
Your profile
We are looking for a technically trained employee with a strong interest in business management contexts. You should bring the following:
- Technical basic training as well as further education as a technician HF, engineer FH/ETH, or a scientific degree
- Extensive experience in plant engineering; professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnological environment is an advantage
- Experience in preparing technically complex offers; basic knowledge of project management is an advantage
- Good MS Office and SAP skills; Salesforce is desirable
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Committed, independent, and reliable working style
- Willingness to travel (max. 20%, mainly Europe, partly worldwide)
