Project Manager BAB and Water Protection

The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation is a department of the Department of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs. It comprises the four divisions of agricultural measures, structural improvements, surveying and the GIS competence centre.
The Agricultural Measures Division is responsible for implementing the federal agricultural policy in the canton of Graubünden. As part of a young team, you will take responsibility for demanding tasks at the interface of agriculture, spatial planning and water protection. You assess construction projects outside the building zone from an agricultural perspective and enforce water protection concerns on agricultural enterprises.

We are looking for a Project Manager BAB and Water Protection for the BAB/Water Protection division in the Agricultural Measures Department from 1 February 2027 or by arrangement.
- Assessment of applications for buildings outside the building zone from an agricultural perspective
- Management of the project to review farm manure facilities
- Independent development and implementation of measures for structural and operational water protection in agriculture
- Collaboration in the enforcement of direct payments and in the approval of lease agreements
- Collaboration on issues relating to agricultural land law in cooperation with other offices
- Basic agricultural training with advanced professional training (professional certificate or agricultural technician HF, FH degree)
- Good knowledge of agricultural practice as well as interest in agricultural policy, spatial planning and environmental issues
- Initial experience in project management or willingness to develop further in this area
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style as well as initiative and organisational skills
- Teamwork, communication skills and assertiveness
- Good negotiation skills, reliability and a high level of commitment
- Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
