Forward-looking production planning is crucial to our success. It ensures that our products are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and in the desired quality. At the same time, we continuously develop our processes and increasingly rely on digitalisation, modern planning systems, and innovative technologies. We also shape our personnel future proactively: With regard to the upcoming retirement of our long-standing Head of AVOR, we want to carefully and early plan his succession. Therefore, we are looking for a committed individual who wishes to gradually develop into this responsible leadership role and actively help shape our production planning.

For our AVOR / Production Planning team, we are seeking immediately or by arrangement a motivated and future-oriented person as

Deputy Head of AVOR / Production Planning (100%)
With the prospect of taking over the department management

Main tasks
- You support the Head of AVOR in operational and strategic production planning and gradually take responsibility for the entire AVOR / Production Planning area.
- You create and optimise short-, medium-, and long-term production plans, ensuring high product availability, economical production processes, and optimal resource utilisation.
- You analyse existing planning processes, identify improvement potentials, and develop sustainable solutions together with the involved departments.
- You actively drive the digitalisation and further development of our production planning and bring in innovative approaches, modern planning tools, and new technologies such as artificial intelligence.
- You work intensively with SAP, are responsible for article creation and ensuring high master data quality, and support the further development of our planning and control processes. You analyse relevant production key figures, planning deviations, manufacturing deviations, and cost developments and derive targeted optimisation measures.
- You work closely with production, purchasing, logistics, quality assurance, and other interfaces to ensure smooth information flow.
- You support the Head of AVOR in the professional and personnel management of the team and deputise during their absence.
- Through targeted induction and gradual assumption of additional tasks and leadership responsibilities, you grow into your future role as Head of AVOR.
- You are responsible for conducting occasional inventories in the individual warehouses. Responsibility for the annual inventory also lies within your remit.

Your profile
- You have completed a technical, business, or food technology education, ideally supplemented by further training in production planning, supply chain management, process management, or a comparable field.
- You bring solid professional experience in production planning and work preparation in an industrial production company, preferably in the food industry.
- You have very good SAP knowledge, ideally in the PP module, and are proficient in Excel as well as modern digital planning tools.
- You are enthusiastic about the digitalisation of processes and bring interest and ideally initial experience in the use of new technologies, data-based planning systems, or artificial intelligence.
- You understand complex production contexts, think analytically and entrepreneurially, and recognise potentials to increase efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- You work in a structured, forward-looking, and solution-oriented manner and keep an overview even with short-term plan changes or demanding situations.
- You communicate clearly, reliably, and on equal terms and understand how to bring together different interests and requirements.
- You have initial leadership experience or possess the potential and motivation to develop specifically into a leadership role.
- You are a committed individual with initiative, a sense of responsibility, and joy in actively shaping change.
- You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills.
