For our finance department, we are looking – as a planned succession arrangement for the current postholder due to partial retirement – for a competent, committed and service-oriented personality as
Head of Accounting and Deputy Head of Finance Department 80 - 100%
Your tasks
- Professional and personnel management of the accounting team with four employees and one apprentice respectively
- Deputising for the Head of Finance and supporting the professional and administrative management of the Finance Department (including taxes) with 15 employees
- Responsibility for accounting, financial statements and the budget of the political municipality as well as the Zweckverband ARA Küsnacht-Erlenbach-Zumikon
- Management of fixed asset accounting
- Controlling tasks
- Leading and participating in projects
- Ensuring deputising in payroll accounting
- Participation in management meetings in the absence of the Head of Finance
Your profile
- Completed commercial or comparable basic training as well as further education in finance and accounting (professional certificate, HF, FH)
- Many years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the public sector
- Experience in payroll accounting and social insurance is an advantage
- Very good user knowledge of M365, also advantageous in FIS FinanzSuite (financial accounting) and Abacus (payroll accounting)
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- High social and leadership competence as well as fluency in oral and written expression
- Convincing, diplomatic and confident manner as well as discretion
- Above-average sense of responsibility, assertiveness and service orientation
- Reliable, precise and independent working style
