The Thun church community is a lively, diverse, and forward-looking community with a motivated team of employees. As a sexton and coordinator of a team, you support the church and cultural offerings of the church community.

We are looking for someone from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement

Caretaker / Sexton (Team Coordinator) 100%

Your tasks:

- You coordinate the work assignments of your employees and delegate tasks in a sensible manner

- You oversee church events and, as a sexton, occasionally cover services

- You support organisers at various events You maintain the church rooms, buildings, and surroundings

- You operate technical equipment and the electronic control systems of churches

Requirements:

- You have completed vocational training

- You are willing to complete the sexton course

- You enjoy hosting and have polished manners

- You are a reliable, flexible, and team-oriented personality

- You have a positive attitude towards the Reformed Church

- You can integrate irregular working hours (Sundays and public holidays, evening shifts) well into your life

- You live in the Thun area and can reach the city centre within 30 minutes

- You have good PC and Office skills
