Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative – Rare Diseases – French-speaking Switzerland (80-100%)
As a leading international biotechnology company with the mission to help patients, we are looking for a committed, customer-oriented person to join our Swiss Rare Disease team in the field force.
In this role, you will manage an innovative portfolio in the fields of rare diseases, ophthalmology and neurology, as well as certain biosimilars. You will work with different customer groups in hospital and outpatient settings and contribute to ensuring that relevant medical innovations reach the patients concerned.
YOUR MISSION:
- As a Sales Rep, you personally support customers from hospitals to practices, as well as through digital channels, and develop long-lasting, trust-based relationships.
- You take responsibility for the commercial performance of your territory and develop targeted plans for accounts and interactions based on customer, market and performance insights.
- You plan and implement customer activities, events and other regional initiatives and evaluate their impact.
- You understand the needs and expectations of your customers and provide them with personalised content, information and services.
- You communicate complex scientific and product-specific content clearly, relevantly and appropriately for different target groups.
- You collaborate closely with your sales colleagues as well as with other functions and seek to contribute to shared successes.
- You bring structured field insights to the cross-functional team and thus contribute to the continuous development of our strategy and activities.
- You work independently and flexibly, always respecting legal requirements and internal Compliance rules in force.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed paramedical, medical or scientific training, or training as a medical representative.
- Experience and proven success in pharmaceutical or biotechnology field sales, ideally with experience in rare diseases, neurology and/or ophthalmology.
- Ability and interest to quickly familiarise yourself with complex scientific topics, pathologies and new markets.
- Strong affinity for personal and digital customer engagement, as well as motivation to effectively integrate new channels and technologies into customer interactions.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to inspire enthusiasm, customer orientation and ability to build long-lasting relationships with different stakeholders.
- High level of autonomy, initiative, agility, sense of responsibility and ability to prioritise.
- Strong willingness to learn, adaptability and openness to new working methods and technologies.
- Good coordination and organisational skills.
- Very good knowledge of French and English, both spoken and written, and good knowledge of German.
- High availability for travel within the assigned territory and a valid driving licence.
