Tasks
• respond to and process RFQs
• obtain and calculate freight rates
• analyze market prices and competitor offers
• create and follow up on ad-hoc offers for existing and new customers
• check, calculate and offer in tenders
• advise customers on optimal transport solutions
• maintain and update the customer database
• close cooperation with the specialist departments
• create and analyze statistics
• support marketing activities
• implement tariffs and conditions
Requirements
• successfully completed commercial training as a freight forwarding clerk
• operational experience in handling international transports by sea, air or road
• initial experience in internal sales is an advantage
• customer-oriented, conscientious and committed personality used to working independently

MS Office (especially Excel) - good knowledge
Languages
German: native language
English: good to very good
additional languages are a great advantage
