Do you have a good analytical mind, managerial flair and a passion for security issues? Do you maintain an overview even in extraordinary situations? Then you might be our head of the integrated situation board "Security in the Canton of Bern" and lead the situation monitoring network within an interdisciplinary framework stimulated by committed teams.
Your tasks
- Take responsibility for the comprehensive and integral situation board "Security in the Canton of Bern"
- Ensure continuous monitoring of the situation and report to strategic and operational management
- Lead the daily situation analysis network, in extraordinary situations as well as in cases of disasters and emergencies
- Additionally, strategically lead the specialised "police dogs" service
- Take responsibility for risk management and business continuity as well as other topics
- Represent the Bern Cantonal Police in various cantonal and national commissions
Your profile
- Proven experience in crisis management or interest in pursuing training in this field
- Leadership experience, sharp analytical skills and excellent communication abilities are essential for this position
- Availability, mental agility, strong conceptual skills and confident presentation complete your profile
- Commitment, willingness to learn, innovative strength and practical experience with "situation boards"
- Interest in continuing education in Switzerland and abroad
