About the job
Together with its partners, the St.Gallen Building Insurance (GVSG) protects its clients from fire and natural hazards and supports them in the event of damage. It is committed to damage prevention as well as fire services and provides insurance coverage in the event of an incident. As an independent public-law institution, it employs around 60 full-time and 160 part-time staff. In the Legal & Communication department, we handle legal matters from all company areas related to administrative, liability, and criminal law.
To complement our legal team, we are looking for a legal trainee (auditor) for a fixed term of 1 year, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks
- Clarification of specific legal questions in the area of building insurance and fire protection law as well as general administrative law
- Handling of administrative law reduction cases and private law recourse cases
- Participation in administrative law appeal procedures
- Drafting correspondence with authorities, insurers, and liable parties
Your profile
- Completed legal university degree (Bachelor, preferably Master)
- Independent and precise working style
- Interest and ability to quickly familiarise yourself with various legal fields
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills
