About the job
You are a Bid Manager with a structured, reliable & quality-oriented working style & you manage complex tender processes in the ICT/service environment.
You take full responsibility for the tender phase, from analysing the tender to creating & coordinating the offer to the final approval & timely submission. In doing so, you act as the central contact person & coordinate all internal & external parties involved.
- Analysis of tenders regarding customer requirements, project scope & pricing model
- Management & coordination of the internal bid team consisting of sales, legal, consultants, architects & engineers
- Coordination of external stakeholders such as customers, partners & suppliers
- Ensuring quality gates as well as quality, compliance & approval requirements in all phases of the bid process
- Creation & coordination of tender documents in close cooperation with sales & key account management
- Organisation & execution of risk analyses, bid reviews & approval processes
- Definition of the bidding strategy as well as the storyline, content & structure of the bid presentation
- Organisation & moderation of preparation meetings to ensure a professional & convincing presentation of the offer to the customer
- Conducting the final quality check of the offer regarding content, consistency, structure, completeness & formatting
- Completed university or university of applied sciences degree, ideally at master’s level
- Certification as APMP Certified (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) is an advantage
- Several years of experience in the ICT environment as well as strong skills in understanding complex solutions & coordinating various stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of the Swiss market for public tenders, including mastery of SIMAP processes & comprehensive management of public procurement procedures
- Experience in handling complex projects as well as knowledge in risk, quality & commercial management
- Ability to take overall coordination throughout the entire tender process & act as a central hub
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, coordinate, support & advise virtual bid teams
- Very good communication, presentation & moderation skills
- Very good German & English skills in spoken and written form, French skills are an advantage
