Who is Gleason Switzerland AG?

At our location in Studen BE, we develop and produce highly precise machine tool systems for the manufacture of toothed components with around 100 employees. We use various processes on our machine systems, such as hobbing, profile milling, powerskiving, or gear honing.

The components produced on our machines are used in the automotive and aerospace industries, in the robotics sector (industrial/humanoid robots), in the food industry, or in e-bikes.

Our customers include numerous well-known companies stationed globally.

The Gleason Group operates worldwide and employs more than 2400 employees around the globe. The group’s products and services include everything related to the manufacture of transmission parts: machine tools, tools, clamping devices, automation systems, measuring machines, and design software for gearboxes.

As a

Service Technician (m/f)

you ensure that everything meshes smoothly:

• You assemble and test the customer-specific final equipment
• You are responsible for commissioning the systems in-house and on-site at the customer
• You carry out service assignments: installation of new systems, retrofits, repairs, etc.
• You train customers and users of our systems in-house and on-site at the customer
• You are deployed worldwide up to 70% of the time

You bring the following:

• Completed basic mechanical training
• Knowledge of electrical engineering desirable
• Experience in mechanical engineering / maintenance
• Knowledge of machining processes
• Ability to work independently
• Customer-oriented thinking and acting
• Driving licence category B (car)
• Good language skills in German and English
• MS Office skills
