System Engineer: Control Technology (all)

• Your main task is system design in the area of PLC, SCADA, and Industrial Gateways for data exchange between our hydropower plants and the higher-level IT systems
• You evaluate, procure, and create the necessary software for the systems
• The system setup as well as system tests in the test room and on the plants are also part of your responsibilities
• You support the systems throughout their entire lifecycle and take on both monitoring and troubleshooting
• You are responsible for the continuous development, improvement, and optimization of the systems in the area of data communication and edge devices
• You actively participate in projects and subprojects and provide on-call service to ensure the availability of the systems around the clock

• Completed technical training with further education ideally at HF or FH level (electrical engineering, automation, systems engineering, or similar)
• You already have professional experience in control technology, automation, and OT (Operational Technology)
• You are familiar with Siemens TIA Portal/Step7 Classic, IoT technologies, databases, and communication protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, REST
• You think in networks and recognize the impacts and dependencies within complex system landscapes
• You have business fluent German skills, a category B driving license, and willingness to provide on-call service (approx. 4-5 weeks per year)
• Your team-oriented, independent, and innovative personality, which acts with a high service awareness, rounds off your profile
