Ensure the strategic management of the IT Directorate (DIT) budgets of the University
Supervise the operational management of the DIT budgets
Ensure financial controlling and budget planning
Manage the administrative lifecycle of workstations and standard software (from purchase to decommissioning)
Define software asset management processes to ensure control
Identify synergies in the software portfolio, support standardisation and implement optimisation measures
Ensure the quality of the workstation inventory (PC, Mac & Linux), in collaboration with the Service Desk team
Measure and continuously improve the processes and procedures within the area of responsibility
Requirements
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or economic field or an equivalent qualification
You have experience in financial management and procurement (public contracts), ideally in an IT context
You have experience in software asset management
You value teamwork and collaboration in a matrix organisation
You are able to negotiate with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers, while being attentive to their constraints
You demonstrate a strong service and results orientation. The principles of continuous improvement hold no secrets for you and you are comfortable with project management principles
You master French or German with good knowledge of the other language; additionally, you have written and spoken English proficiency
