Your tasks

As a sports coordinator, you will take responsibility for various sports offerings of Pro Senectute Canton Bern and actively shape them together with our sports leaders and specialists. You can expect a varied role with lots of contact with people, creative freedom and personal responsibility.

• You coordinate and develop our sports offerings and ensure an attractive, needs-based and high-quality programme
• You recruit and support sports leaders, plan their assignments and maintain good and binding cooperation
• You ensure suitable framework conditions and find appropriate premises for our indoor offerings
• You identify development and training needs among the sports leaders and work closely with our training and education department
• You ensure the quality of the offerings, consult our specialists on professional questions and contribute to the further development of the sports sector
• You maintain contacts and networks with municipalities, organisations and other partners
• You create content for our course programme, website, social media and other communication channels

Your profile

• Organisational talent and administrative strength – you work in a structured, reliable manner and keep an overview. Commercial training EFZ is an advantage
• Experience in recruiting and supporting employees, leaders or volunteers as well as a good sense of different personalities
• Strong communication skills and initiative – you enjoy working with different people and take independent action
• Interest in sport and exercise – especially for and with people over 60
• esa leadership training is an advantage or willingness to acquire it
• Good MS Office skills as well as very good German skills, French skills are an advantage
