Romandie Region – Technical Hub
Job Objectives
Ensure the overall planning of projects during the study and execution phases to guarantee deadline control, resource optimization, and effective coordination of stakeholders. The planner contributes to structuring projects by defining scheduling strategies, master schedules, and management tools necessary for the smooth running of operations.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Analyze tender documents and identify milestones, technical and administrative constraints, as well as scheduling risks.
- Define the planning strategy and project execution sequences.
- Develop master schedules integrating study, preparation, and execution phases.
- Develop detailed schedules for all trades and ensure their overall coherence.
- Identify the critical path and propose measures to optimize deadlines.
- Participate in project kick-off, coordination, and monitoring meetings.
- Work closely with acquisition, study, methods, works teams, and technical specialists.
- Coordinate interfaces between different internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead planning sessions with execution teams.
- Monitor work progress and adjust schedules according to project developments.
- Produce planning documents necessary for bid submissions and project management during execution.
- Conduct scheduling risk analyses and propose corrective actions.
- Develop phasing plans, synoptics, and visual planning supports.
- Integrate Lean Construction principles into planning processes.
- Perform regular site follow-ups to control work progress.
- Capitalize on feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes.
- Propose optimizations to improve deadline efficiency and resource utilization.
Profile Sought:
- Higher education in Civil Engineering (ETH, University of Applied Sciences or equivalent).
- Proven experience in construction project planning (General Contractor).
- Good understanding of construction project execution processes.
- Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project or equivalent).
- Knowledge of BIM tools and specialized software (an asset).
- Excellent analytical and structuring skills.
- Rigor and organizational skills.
- Collaborative spirit and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Languages
- Mastery of German or English is an asset.
