The Social Action Service includes the Coordination Office for Social Benefits, the Coordination Office for Disability Issues, and the Asylum Office.

Your tasks

• You supervise the social, administrative and financial follow-up of young minors under the asylum domain placed in the home
• You take responsibility for the administrative and financial management of the home
• You decide, within your competences, on the current expenses of the home
• You control the application of legal and administrative provisions relating to assistance standards and modalities
• You participate in the health network established for the care of beneficiaries
• You manage the personnel
• You establish directives and write internal information
• You are responsible for monitoring socio-professional integration projects
• You plan and organise internal conferences at the home
• You manage all site infrastructures as well as the various interdisciplinary teams
• You are responsible for maintaining order, hygiene and cleanliness of the site

Your profile

• Diploma as an ES/HES educator or equivalent training
• Desired training in management or team leadership
• Proven experience in a similar position, ideally in team management
• Good knowledge of the asylum field, particularly in supervising unaccompanied minors
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a strong ability to work independently and in a team
• Sense of responsibility, organisation and good analytical skills in complex situations
• Native French speaker; knowledge of other languages would be an asset

Start date

• Start date: immediately or to be agreed
• Fixed-term contract: the duration is linked to variations in the number of
  people the canton is obliged to accommodate under the federal asylum law
