Would you like to contribute your experience in a lively organisation? We are looking for the Paroisse catholique de langue française de Berne et environs for an independent, motivated, and committed person who is ready to get stuck in and provide support.

(flexible working days: 4 half days) Start date immediate or by arrangement

Your tasks

• Cleaning and maintenance work
• Carrying out minor repairs
• Technical maintenance of building services (heating, water, electricity, household appliances, audio/multimedia devices, etc.)
• Co-organisation and preparation of rooms for various events, including handover and acceptance checks
• Participation in parish events
• Responsibility for safety, heating, and winter services
• Careful maintenance of the surroundings
• Collaboration with other professional groups (secretariat, sacristans, pastoral staff) as well as with volunteers

You bring with you

• Professional qualification in the craft or technical field (e.g. operational maintenance specialist EBA, certified caretaker EFZ or similar) and experience in caretaking
• Good French and German skills and basic IT knowledge
• Driving licence category B
• Independent, efficient, and reliable working style
• Healthy assertiveness, social competence, and good communication skills
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
• Residence in the Bern area preferred
• Member of a national church
• Enjoyment in dealing with people as a host
