Band Leadership in a Mandate Relationship

The Mosaic Church is an urban community of the Evangelical Reformed Church Community of Zurich with a clear inclusive and queer-sensitive profile. It sees itself as a home for people with different lifestyles, especially young adults who want to live the Christian faith communally and contemporarily.

For our diverse community, we are looking immediately for a committed person rooted in the Christian faith who, with musical competence, leads the band, promotes it, and together with it makes the love of God tangible.

Your Tasks

• Musical leadership and coordination of the band
• Design and further development of the musical profile and repertoire
• Organisation of rehearsals and engagements (in close consultation with the team)
• Promotion and support of volunteer musicians
• Co-design of services and other events

Your Profile

• A heart for worship (practical experience mandatory)
• Musical competence to lead a service (training in music or music education)
• Experience in band leadership in a church context
• Confident mastery of a main instrument (keyboard or guitar)
• Good knowledge of arrangement and rehearsal methodology
• Enjoyment of working with volunteers
• Very good German skills, English skills at least B1
