Head Nurse / Head Nurse Surgical Ward

- Ensuring efficient organisational structures on the ward (staff deployment planning, definition of daily responsibility, allocation of patients according to the primary nursing system)
- Leadership and development of the nursing team of the surgical ward
- Future-oriented further development of the ward in interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration
- Implementation of the mission statement on the ward as well as ensuring a high quality of nursing care provided
- Participation in or management of area-specific projects as well as shaping team development processes
- Bringing in your experience and strengths in a helpful and well-coordinated ward team including working as a primary nurse in the nursing team
Become part of our Department of Emergency and Acute Medicine at Zollikerberg Hospital. Under this roof, we unite the areas of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Nephrology with Dialysis Centre, the Emergency Department, the Eye Centre, the Medical Outpatient Clinic, the Day Clinic as well as bed management and other departments. The Clinic for Internal Medicine cares for over 2,500 inpatients annually, the Clinic for Surgery over 1,500 inpatients. With more than 6,000 emergency consultations and over 450 patients treated in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit, we offer a varied and demanding working environment with a broad internal medicine spectrum.

This is how you convince us:
- Completed training as a qualified nurse (Dipl. Pflegefachfrau / Dipl. Pflegefachmann)
- Further training in leadership or management (CAS/MAS) or willingness to complete it
- Several years of leadership experience in a hospital environment, ideally complemented by project management experience
- High social and professional competence, confident appearance and enjoyment in promoting people and actively shaping change
