About the role
As part of our Finance & Accounting team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and quality of the Bank’s financial data. This position is well-suited for a detail-oriented professional at an early stage of their career who enjoys working with figures, systems, and structured processes.
Your primary focus will be the maintenance and enhancement of the Bank’s Management Information System (MIS), supporting accurate financial monitoring, reporting, and planning activities. You will contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles and help provide management with clear, timely financial insights.
This role offers strong exposure to the Bank’s financial operations and is an excellent opportunity to build a solid foundation in financial controlling and banking systems.
Key responsibilities
o Maintain and update the Management Information System of the Bank, ensuring high quality, accurate and reliable financial data (Product & Customer Profitability / Profit & Cost Center Accounting).
o Support monthly financial processes through data preparation, reconciliation and standard financial analyses.
o Coordinate budgeting and forecasting cycles through data collection, consolidation, and validation.
o Produce regular financial reports, statistics and ad-hoc analysis for internal stakeholders and regulatory purposes.
o Monitor data consistency and investigate discrepancies to ensure data and financial information integrity.
o Collaborate with other departments to streamline data flows and improve reporting processes.
Your profile
o CFC or equivalent qualification, degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
o 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a Bank in Switzerland.
o Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
o Strong Excel skills and at ease with IT systems and data tools.
o High level of accuracy, reliability and attention to detail.
o Structured and organized, with the ability to manage recurring tasks and deadlines.
o Analytical mindset and strong affinity for working with numbers.
o Proactive and collaborative team player.
o Good command of English, both written and spoken.
o Swiss residency mandatory.
