About the job

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Automation Technician / Electrical Assembler in Plant Engineering. In this role, you will ensure that our bioreactors and process plants are electrically assembled professionally and delivered ready for operation. You will accompany our projects from pre-assembly and final assembly through to commissioning and customer acceptance, thereby making an important contribution to the successful completion of projects. In close collaboration with the teams from the technical, project management, and service departments, you will help ensure that our systems meet the highest quality, safety, and performance standards.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Professional assembly of electrical assemblies (mechanical construction, wiring, as well as installation of electrical and pneumatic components)
• Professional electrical and pneumatic installation of bioreactors and process plants (independently or in a team)
• Conducting electrical tests according to EN 61439 and EN 60204-1
• Carrying out reassemblies and modifications domestically and abroad
• Support during commissioning and customer acceptance
• Active participation in the continuous development of internal processes and workflows

Your profile:

• Completed training as an automation technician / electrical assembler or an equivalent qualification
• Ability to read, understand, and apply electrical schematics and manufacturing documents
• Preferably experience in pneumatic installation and tubing of machines and process plants
• Willingness to travel for several weeks for reassemblies domestically and abroad
• Fluent German skills, both spoken and written
• Good English skills for reading project-relevant documents and confident communication with customers abroad
