About the job
The Child and Adult Protection Authority KESB Dietikon is responsible for ensuring the protection of adults and children. As an auditor, you review inventories, reports, and invoices of the guardians and handle complex cases with a focus on inheritance law, finance, property, and social insurance law.
From July 1, 2026, or by agreement, we are looking for a
Your tasks
You work independently on specialized tasks in child and adult protection proceedings, including:
- Independent review of status inventories, accountability reports, and invoices from guardians in child and adult protection
- Review of transactions requiring approval according to Art. 416 and other asset-related issues in child and adult protection
- Drafting of justified/unjustified decision proposals for the authority
- Ensuring the assertion of social insurance claims
- Handling questions and applications in the area of asset management according to VBVV
- Advisory role in authority meetings including minute-taking
- Participation in the development and further improvement of standards, information sheets, and tools for the auditing department
- If interested and suitable: Taking over the deputy head of auditing
Your profile
- Completion of advanced professional examination in finance and accounting, auditing, fiduciary services, as well as commercial/business administration basic training
- Several years of professional experience in fiduciary, auditing, social insurance, or banking sectors, ideally complemented by experience in child and adult protection or in an official environment
- Good knowledge of finance and accounting as well as understanding of asset management and financial contexts
- Structured, analytical, and careful working style with high personal responsibility
- Confident in oral and written expression
- Very good IT skills (e.g., Excel, MS365)
- You treat people in difficult life situations with respect - and keep an overview even under pressure
- Team player: Appreciative, solution-oriented, and interdisciplinary collaboration with guardians, external agencies, and within KESB
- Leadership experience or willingness for corresponding further training is required for the deputy head position
