Are you passionate about bringing data to life? Then bring your expertise in data management to the direct payments team of the Agriculture Department and ensure that our agricultural data is precise, reliable, and always ready for use.
Your tasks
- Data management: Responsible for internal and external data requests as well as analyses and evaluations of agricultural direct payment data (operational, structural, and control data)
- Quality controls & data transfer: Ensuring data quality, data integrity, and monitoring data transfer to the federal government
- Invoice support: Supporting the invoice manager in payment processes and in analyzing the federal fund flow accounting
- Collaboration & further development: Participation in inter-cantonal expert groups to further develop the system architecture of the agricultural information system and implement new federal requirements as well as support in the direct payments team during data collection campaigns
Your profile
- Completed studies in agronomy, environmental sciences, computer science with an agricultural focus, or comparable qualifications
- Interest in direct payment and agricultural topics in the area of enforcement
- Proven experience in data management: SQL queries of relational databases; data matching, checking, cleaning, and analysis
- Ability to analyze complex issues precisely, think in networks, and prepare results appropriately for the target audience
- Good communication skills, service-oriented, and understanding of interfaces within the administration
