For our client, an established Swiss industrial company from the Zurich area with an international focus, we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded and practical leadership personality. In this role, you take responsibility for the Labelling & Signage Technology department and actively shape its operational and professional development.

We are looking for a personality who combines technical competence with organisational talent, promotes employees and keeps an overview even with demanding tasks.

Your tasks

• You lead and further develop the Labelling & Signage Technology department professionally, organisationally and personally.
• You plan, coordinate and monitor orders – from work preparation through production to timely completion.
• You ensure high execution quality as well as adherence to deadlines and defined processes.
• You optimise workflows, production processes and the use of resources.
• You prepare the department for a future two-shift operation and build the necessary capacities for it.
• You support your team with technical questions and also pitch in yourself if needed.
• You coordinate collaboration with internal interfaces, suppliers and other contacts.
• You promote the professional and personal development of your employees and ensure constructive cooperation.
• You contribute ideas, recognise potential for improvement and implement changes pragmatically.

Your profile

• Completed vocational training in signage technology, labelling technology, printing technology or a related technical profession
• Several years of professional experience in labelling and signage technology, ideally complemented by initial or already solid leadership experience
• Good knowledge of relevant production methods, materials and technical processes
• Experience in order planning, work preparation and process optimisation
• Organisational strength, assertiveness and a structured way of working
• Enjoyment in leading, promoting employees and achieving goals together
• Strong quality awareness as well as a solution-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset
• Good communication skills and confident handling of different stakeholder groups
