About the job
What to expect
- As a team lead, you share responsibility for daily readiness in our logistics. You report to the lead of the respective logistics area and work closely with other team leads of goods receipt and goods issue, the control centre, as well as quality management.
- Your main responsibility lies in the smooth coordination of daily operations and ensuring daily readiness so that our delivery promise "Ordered today, delivered tomorrow" is kept.
- You organise your area independently and ensure an optimal flow of logistics processes with efficient personnel and resource planning. Deputies support you in this demanding task.
- You lead a team of about 40 employees both professionally and personally and empower your employees to jointly implement quality and process optimisations.
- You actively work on reducing efforts within the responsible processes and at relevant interfaces.
- Recruitment, independently conducting annual reviews, ensuring the flow of information through active communication and (quality) training of employees are some keywords that will belong to your area of responsibility in the future.
What you bring
- You are very familiar with the world of logistics and bring profound leadership experience.
- In addition to basic training, further education (e.g. logistics specialist with federal certificate, projects and/or processes) is highly desirable.
- Experience or interest in process optimisations, especially in connection with lean methods.
- Enjoyment of a highly dynamic environment and constant change is essential to do justice to the wide scope for implementing your own ideas and suggestions.
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to support your team during peak times.
- Very good German skills, proficient in handling IT systems, and an impeccable reputation.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts (05:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 23:00) as well as Saturday shifts.
