About the job
We are looking for an Intern: Commercial Clerk for Reception 60-100% starting 1 December 2026 or by arrangement.
You are a vocational baccalaureate student, graduate of a business school, wish to complete commercial training (also via the second educational pathway) or want to complement your existing knowledge with practical experience in a commercial environment. You enjoy contact with people, like varied work and are looking for a versatile role in a professional environment.
You will be responsible for the following main tasks:
- Friendly and professional reception and support of students, lecturers, staff, guests and external partners
- Receiving, processing and coordinating enquiries in person, by telephone and by email
- Taking on administrative and organisational tasks related to mail, parcels, IT equipment as well as office and consumable materials
- Ensuring a tidy, organised reception and lounge area and a professional appearance
- Supporting the organisation and execution of internal events, meetings and functions including catering coordination
- Supporting a department with further administrative and organisational tasks depending on workload
You bring the following:
- Interest in a commercial role and ideally a completed basic education, commercial school or a comparable qualification; school leavers (Sec A) are also welcome
- Strong customer and service orientation as well as a friendly, professional demeanour
- Very good oral and written German skills; French and/or English skills are an advantage
- Experience with Microsoft 365, especially Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel
- Independent, reliable and organised working style with a high awareness of quality
- Flexibility, team spirit and willingness to deputise within the team from Monday to Saturday
