Your mission:

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you take responsibility for the Mechanical Engineering department and play a key role in the development of our special machine solutions for the food and packaging industry.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• lead and supervise the mechanical design team

• develop innovative, pragmatic, and robust technical solutions

• supervise and improve mechanical design and execution processes and ensure their quality

• ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards

• coordinate the planning and execution of mechanical projects respecting deadlines, budgets, and expected quality levels

• optimize costs without compromising solution performance

• collaborate closely with the Project Management, Electrical, and Software teams to ensure smooth and efficient system integration. 

Your profile:
We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineering manager in a complex and demanding industrial environment capable of combining solid mechanical expertise, organizational skills, and the ability to unite a team in a complex technical environment. You bring:

• a multidisciplinary engineering education with a mechanical focus

• proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the design of complex industrial machines, robotics, or the food industry

• good mastery of mechanical design, automation, and robotic environments

• knowledge of the machinery directive

• experience in resource and budget management

• demonstrated ability to supervise, develop, and advance a team

• a structured, analytical, collaborative, and results-oriented approach

• perfect command of French and English.
