• Ensuring and further developing the group-wide High-Performance Computing (HPC) infrastructure as well as the associated systems
• Responsibility for the management, utilisation, and licensing of CAE software within the Stadler Rail Group
• Development of automation and software solutions to optimise HPC, CAE, and measurement technology processes
• Development of evaluation programmes for measurement data in collaboration with measurement engineers
• Design, further development, and benchmarking of HPC systems
• Provision, operation, and administration of the HPC infrastructure, including storage systems (NAS) and central services
• Benchmarking and performance analysis of CAE software
• Creation and maintenance of data storage and data management concepts

• University degree in computer science, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering
• Very good knowledge of Linux / Linux administration
• Experience in the administration of Linux systems / clusters
• Very good knowledge of Python
• High level of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Structured and independent working style
• Communicative and team-oriented personality
• Very good German and English skills
