What you will do with us

With us, you will be responsible for the strategic development and long-term optimisation of the City of Biel's real estate portfolio. You will develop owner and portfolio strategies, define repurposing and renewal measures, and ensure their implementation. You will analyse the profitability and development potential of the properties, coordinate investment and maintenance planning, and support strategic real estate projects. In doing so, you represent the interests of the city as the owner and contribute to the preparation of proposals for the political authorities.

• Would you like to apply your expertise in real estate and portfolio management as well as your understanding of political contexts in your daily work?
• Are you a communicative and assertive personality, able to keep an overview even in complex issues and conduct negotiations confidently in a political environment?
• Do you enjoy applying your expertise in processing, analysing, and maintaining large amounts of data and using your understanding of real estate management processes purposefully?
• Are precise working methods as well as analytical and conceptual thinking among your strengths?

What you ideally bring with you

• University or university of applied sciences degree (business administration, architecture) or commercial basic training with further education (e.g. fiduciary, real estate sector), a federal diploma in the real estate field is an advantage

• Several years of experience in real estate management, ideally in public administration, especially in portfolio management
