Perspektive Thurgau is a strong non-profit organisation for health promotion, prevention, and counselling. It is organised as a municipal association and works on behalf of the municipalities of Thurgau. Based on federal and cantonal legislation, it fulfils the joint tasks of the canton and municipalities. Our services are aimed at all residents of the canton of Thurgau.

For the Maternal and Paternal Advice Department, we are looking from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement for the regions of Kreuzlingen and/or Romanshorn (possibly Weinfelden) for a

Consultant - Maternal and Paternal Advice 60 to 80%
(Early Childhood Advisor)

Your tasks:

• Advising and supporting parents and children aged 0-5 years on care, nutrition, development, education, and prevention
• Collaboration with intercultural mediators for the support and counselling of families from other cultures
• Networking and cooperation with other professionals and institutions in the field of family and early childhood
• Electronic record keeping of consultations (MVB 4 programme)
• Maintaining time and performance records

Your profile:

• Qualified nurse specialising in paediatrics or current, extensive professional experience in the infant and toddler sector, qualified midwife HF/FH, qualified early childhood educator HF, qualified social pedagogue HF
• Maternal and paternal advice (NDS) or Early Childhood Advisor HFP advantageous or willingness to complete the Higher Professional Examination
• Experience working with mothers and fathers during and after the postpartum period as well as with infants and children up to 5 years old
• High transcultural competence
• Outgoing personality with a confident and engaging manner
• Good communication skills and organisational talent
• Good MS Office skills
• Driving licence category B, private vehicle
