About the job
Secure, optimize, and lead - take cybersecurity to the next level! Are you ready to strengthen our digital defenses and maximize security effectiveness? In this key role, you will take ownership of our cybersecurity framework, ensuring compliance with top industry standards and mitigating risks.
Your role
- As Cyber Security Manager, you will not only define strategies but also actively implement cybersecurity measures, working hands-on with internal and external stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks. For this purpose, you will develop, deploy, and maintain an Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, and NIS-2 frameworks - ensuring practical application, not just documentation
- You will drive compliance with relevant cyber security regulations and industry standards by translating requirements into effective security policies, procedures and controls and integrating them into day-to-day operations
- Taking ownership of incident management, you ensure the swift detection, coordinated response and resolution of security incidents while continuously strengthening incident reporting and lessons-learned processes
- In close collaboration with IT, Legal and Procurement, you embed cyber security requirements into contracts and processes and contribute to a robust third-party risk management framework
- Furthermore, you will directly implement, manage, and fine-tune cutting-edge security monitoring tools and will ensure cybersecurity coverage across multiple focus markets, including Switzerland, Italy, Germany, France, Norway, and Sweden
What you bring to the role
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience in both cybersecurity management and hands-on implementation, ideally in critical infrastructure or energy sectors
- Practical expertise in network management, server virtualisation, OT communication protocols as well as firewall configuration and administration complements your security expertise
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF and NIS-2, combined with practical experience in risk management, compliance audits and security operations, is essential
- Your analytical mindset, ability to quickly grasp complex topics and strong communication skills enable you to translate security challenges into pragmatic solutions and drive initiatives forward
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach and the willingness to get hands-on, take ownership and continuously develop your expertise characterise your way of working
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are an advantage
