TRAVYS is the leading public transport company for the North Vaud region. It operates 3 railway lines and several bus lines in the Jura - North Vaud area and employs around 300 staff members. We act daily for responsible mobility. Our mission is to offer the population quality mobility services. To complete our teams, we are creating a new position and are looking for a:

Head of Bus Drivers (80% – 100%)

Your daily role

As a committed and inspiring leader, you join the team of three road staff managers and are at the heart of the action.

• Present on the ground, you support your colleagues in their daily work
• You actively participate in recruitment, integration, and basic and ongoing training
• You manage unexpected absences and collaborate with daily planning and traffic management
• You plan holidays and conduct annual appraisals
• You ensure monitoring and reporting of your sector’s data

What you bring to the team

• Category D driving licence
• Residence in French-speaking Switzerland, within 40 minutes by car from the Yverdon-les-Bains depot
• Proven experience in frontline management
• Excellent communication, listening skills, and team spirit
• Good analytical skills and ease in writing
• Proficiency with IT tools (MS Office)
• Very good command of French, both spoken and written
• Reliability, punctuality, and sense of responsibility
• Knowledge of safety regulations and the legal framework related to the role
• Initiative, autonomy, and ability to unite the team
• Certified training in leadership/management: an asset
• Experience in training or coaching: a valued plus
