The Stöcklin Group designs sustainable intralogistics and system solutions for international customers. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed and analytically minded individual as a Junior Sustainability Specialist (a) with a focus on Product Carbon Footprints (PCF) and environmental metrics.

Junior Sustainability Specialist (a)

In this role, you will support the further development of our sustainability and climate initiatives and work closely with internal departments as well as international group companies.

Your tasks

• Support in the collection, analysis and validation of environmental and ESG data at product and group level
• Collaboration in the calculation and further development of Product Carbon Footprints (PCF) for products and systems
• Assistance with CO2 balances (Scope 1-3) as well as the preparation of emissions and material data
• Maintenance, further development and quality assurance of sustainability data in internal systems and reporting tools
• Participation in the creation of internal and external reports, presentations and decision-making bases
• Research on PCF methodologies, emission factors, supplier integration, regulatory requirements and best practices
• Collaboration with product management, purchasing, development and operations on projects related to product sustainability and decarbonisation
• Support in the further development of standards, processes and documentation in the field of sustainability
• Coordination of appointments, data requests and project tasks in the sustainability context

Your profile

• Completed studies (FH, Bachelor) in sustainability, environmental sciences, engineering or similar
• Practical experience in the field of PCF, CO2 accounting, LCA or sustainability management
• Basic knowledge of relevant standards and methods (e.g. GHG Protocol, ISO 14040/44, ISO 14067)
• Analytical and structured working style as well as interest in data-based issues
• Very good Excel skills and confident handling of numbers
• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written; French is an advantage
• Independent, reliable and team-oriented personality
