The Rossfeld Foundation enables, accompanies and supports around 450 people of all ages with physical, motor and perceptual disabilities in the areas of school, living, day structure and therapy. Our clients and their needs are at the centre. We stand for high service quality, short decision-making paths and dynamic working methods in a changing environment. Rossfeld School Education is the only competence centre in the Canton of Bern offering school, residential groups and therapy for children and young people capable of mainstream education with a physical, motor or perceptual disability in the mainstream school sector.

Tasks
You will
- teach eight pupils in Cycle 2
- orientate yourself on the Lehrplan 21 of the mainstream school Canton Bern (teaching and teaching materials)
- work closely with the co-teacher and school assistant
- have responsibility as class teacher
- set your teaching days in consultation with the class team
- have the possibility of a permanent position from August 2027. Workload between 40 – 60% by mutual agreement
Requirements
You bring with you
- Completed training as a Special Needs Educator or training as a teacher with experience in special education
- Knowledge in supporting children and young people with special needs
- Enjoyment in working with pupils with a physical disability
- Resilience, methodological confidence and flexibility
- Individualised teaching style
- Convincing communication and solution-oriented work
- Fluent oral and written expression in German
- Open attitude and enjoyment of teamwork
- Composure and a pinch of humour
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Good PC user skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
