About the job
Motorcycle Mechanic with Workshop Coordination & MFK (100%)
Automobile and agricultural machinery mechanics are also explicitly welcome.
You don’t just want to tinker, but also don’t want to be completely out of the workshop? In this position, you combine both: active workshop work as well as coordination, administration and customer contact.
On average throughout the year, the position is approximately 50% workshop and 50% organisation, MFK and customer support. The division is not rigid every week: During the motorcycle season, the focus is more on repair acceptance, coordination, MFK and minor repairs. In the quieter winter months, you also take on larger repairs and more extensive workshop work.
To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a technically skilled and organised person who enjoys taking responsibility.
Whether you have just completed your apprenticeship or already have several years of professional experience is not decisive for us. What matters is your technical understanding, your enthusiasm for motorcycles and your willingness to familiarise yourself with new tasks.
Your Tasks
Workshop & Technology
- Service, maintenance and repair work on motorcycles of all brands
- Diagnosis and technical clarifications
- Repair acceptance including initial technical assessment
- Preparation and inspection of motorcycles for the MFK
- Active participation in daily workshop operations
- During the winter months, also larger and more extensive repair work
Workshop Coordination & Customer Contact
- Recording, preparing and coordinating workshop orders
- Scheduling and coordination between customers, workshop and workshop manager
- Customer advice during repair acceptance, technical inquiries and vehicle handovers
- Administrative support of the workshop manager
- Follow-up of ongoing orders and open clarifications
- Maintenance of order-related documentation
Responsibility for our MFK Days
Once a week, the MFK takes place directly at our premises. A traffic expert from the road traffic office comes to our operation for this.
You take over the organisation and preparation of this day and ensure that motorcycles, appointments and documents are fully ready and the inspections run smoothly.
This includes in particular:
- Planning and coordination of MFK appointments
- Preparation and inspection of motorcycles to be tested
- Customer clarifications and appointment confirmations
- Compilation of the required documents
- Administrative processing and documentation
- Cooperation with the traffic expert on site
- Coordination of necessary follow-up work
What You Bring
- Completed technical basic training, for example as a motorcycle mechanic, automobile mechatronics technician, automobile specialist, automobile mechanic or agricultural machinery mechanic
- Apprentices are just as welcome as experienced professionals
- Solid technical understanding and manual skills
- Interest in motorcycles and willingness to familiarise yourself with motorcycle-specific technology
- Enjoyment of a role that combines practical workshop work with organisation and customer contact
- Structured, reliable and independent working style
- Ability to keep an overview even with several simultaneous orders
- Friendly, courteous and professional manner towards customers
- Confident PC skills and willingness to work with workshop software, parts catalogs and digital processes
- Driving licence categories A and B
What We Offer You
- A varied 100% permanent position with a genuine combination of workshop work and organisation
- On average throughout the year approximately 50% workshop and 50% coordination, administration, MFK and customer contact
- A clearly defined area of responsibility around our weekly MFK days on site
- Thorough training in motorcycle-specific technology if you come from automobile or agricultural machinery technology
- Varied work on motorcycles of all brands
- A modern operation with very good workshop infrastructure
- Responsibility and scope for design
- A motivated and collegial team
- Development opportunities towards deputy workshop management, workshop coordination, customer advice or administration
Is This Position Right for You?
This position is ideal for you if you still enjoy practical work but do not want to spend the whole day exclusively tinkering. You enjoy coordinating orders, communicating with customers and ensuring that everything is prepared and runs reliably in the workshop.
We look forward to getting to know you.
