The Herzogenbuchsee school combines kindergarten and primary school in the centre of Oberaargau. Thanks to its location on the important transport axis between Bern and Olten, it is easily accessible and cares for children from Herzogenbuchsee and Niederönz from kindergarten to 6th grade. Currently, around 760 pupils attend the five school and five kindergarten locations, where they are supported by a committed and versatile team of teachers. In addition to regular lessons, the school also organises speech therapy and psychomotor offers for the surrounding schools in the region.

Tasks
In 12 lessons IF, you accompany pupils with special support needs in everyday classroom life and develop suitable support offers together with teachers. In doing so, you bring your special education expertise into the team and strengthen lived integration in everyday school life. The lessons take place in 3rd/4th grades.
In addition, you individually support a pupil during her return from the speech therapy school to the regular class in a 5th/6th grade during 6 lessons.
Requirements
- You have training as a special needs educator for schools or are completing it
- or you have training as a Cycle 2 or Cycle 1 teacher
- You enjoy working in a team and communicate on equal terms with teachers and parents
