The CIVIS Unit coordinates the deployment of the European university at UNIL. CIVIS is a multicultural and multilingual European university formed by the alliance of eleven leading higher education institutions across Europe. Communication Intern
Job Information
Start date: September 1, 2026 | Activity rate: 60-80%
Fixed-term contract of 6 or 12 months / paid internship according to UNIL scales
Your activities
- Support the team in conducting interviews and writing articles;
- Write posts for various social media channels;
- Propose and design multimedia formats to distribute content on social media (photos, videos, audios);
- Acquire new audiences on social media and build their loyalty;
- Participate in writing and sending newsletters;
- Update the various web pages of the CIVIS Unit;
- Provide support to members of the CIVIS Unit as needed;

Your profile
- Holder of a degree from a university of applied sciences in communication or a related field of study;
- Experience and strong interest in digital communication (proven use of social media as well as a CMS);
- Basic skills in graphic design and common tools for social media (Canva, Affinity Publisher, Capcut);
- Proficiency in basic computer tools: Word, Excel, etc.;
- Interest in higher education fields in general and internationalization strategies;
- Excellent oral and written command of French, ability to express oneself fluently in writing, reliable spelling;
- Very good knowledge of English (level B2);
- Sense of efficiency and rigor;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Initiative and ability to work independently;
- Good team spirit and high motivation;
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in communication.
