Your Trainee ProgramIn our trainee program, you have the chance to gain diverse experience in banking. You build expertise, make contacts, and can help shape our core business.

During 20 months, you will complete three to four varied assignments and get to know the diverse areas around controlling and financial analytics in the Group Bank Management department.

The Group Bank Management contributes significantly to the sustainable success of the BKB Group through an efficient risk and financial function. With forward-looking analyses, recommendations for action, and regular reporting, it supports the operational business areas of both group banks in value-oriented management of their performance in a volatile market environment.

Are you a good fit for us?

• Have you recently completed your university studies (Bachelor or Master) in business administration / economics, physics, mathematics, or data science?
• Do you have excellent communication skills in German, both spoken and written?
• Do you have a high degree of initiative and interconnected thinking in planning and independently implementing meaningful solution strategies?
• Are you open and flexible with technical innovations?
• Do you enjoy programming (e.g., with SQL, R, or Python) and building visual dashboards (e.g., with Tableau or Power BI) and also have good MS Office skills (especially Excel)?
• Are you interested in how a bank is financially managed and how planning and budgeting actually work in practice?
• Do you like analyzing products and services from a business perspective, building a deep financial understanding, and independently developing recommendations for action?
• Have you ever thought about how efficient, coherent, and error-free reporting on business operations is created, on the basis of which management bodies make business policy decisions?
