Catechist

The Reformed Church community of Horgen is one of the largest and most populous church communities in the canton. With a wide range of meaningful fields of activity, the focus is on the person. The church community reaches a great variety of people in the community area with its offerings.

Prerequisites for this exciting position with development potential are joy and skill in dealing with children and young people.

Diverse tasks

• Implementation of the overall religious education concept with the team
• Organization and execution of JuKi modules
• Organization and execution of camp weeks and other events
• Co-design of family services
• Participation in family events and community activities
• Collaboration with parents, employees, and volunteers
• Administrative tasks

We wish for

• Enthusiasm for working with children and young people
• Affinity for conveying biblical stories and Christian values
• Experience in organizing camp weeks desirable
• Creativity to develop new projects
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and social competence
• Familiarity with digital tools
• Membership in the national church and identification with Christian values and goals
