For our steel technology operation in Winterthur, we are looking for an experienced and qualified colleague:
Logistics Specialist for Steel Products (100%)
Your main tasks include:
- Proper storage and retrieval of demanding steel products (beams, reinforcing bars, pipes, sheets)
- Efficient loading and unloading of lorries as well as precise aligning and preparation of customer orders
- Confident handling of modern forklifts, overhead crane systems and precise operation of band saw and straightening machines
- Competent and friendly support of our collection customers
Your profile:
- Solid experience as a logistics specialist, ideally in the steel, metal or building materials industry
- Valid forklift licence (Suva) as well as experience in the safe handling of overhead and bridge cranes
- Experience with band saw machines is an advantage
- High quality and safety awareness when handling heavy loads as well as technical understanding
- Reliable, independent and team-oriented manner with fluent German skills
