Apprenticeship as a Medical Practice Assistant EFZ

MEDVADIS AG offers a comprehensive range of medical basic care for the population in the Limmattal region at five locations (Dietikon Limmat Tower, Schlieren, Urdorf, Birmensdorf, Engstringen). For our location in Birmensdorf, we are offering three MPA apprenticeships in 2026.

Content of the 3-year vocational training:

• Reception and telephone management
• Administrative tasks
• Daily work with electronic medical records (Triamed)
• Laboratory analyses, blood draws, injections, and infusions
• X-ray / EKG / lung function tests
• Self-dispensing pharmacy, among others ROWA
• Assistance with minor procedures
• Sterilization of instruments

• You are attending secondary school A
• Commute door-to-door max. 1 hour
• You have already completed at least one internship as an MPA
• You are interested in medicine and can handle the physical and mental demands of a diverse and varied environment.
• You possess empathy, strong communication, and teamwork skills
• You have a quick grasp of concepts, the talent to think in networks, and recognize connections. You enjoy independent and responsible work.
• You have very good oral and written German skills, as well as another language (English, Italian, or French).
• You have good PC user skills and master the 10-finger system.
