Job summary
Die drei ländlichen Pfarreien Buttisholz, Grosswangen und Ettiswil suchen eine/n Kirchliche Sozialarbeiter/in.
Tasks
- Mitglied im Pastoralraumteam mit der Fachverantwortung Diakonie.
- Aufbau und Weiterentwicklung von Angeboten der kirchlichen Sozialarbeit.
- Beratung und Begleitung von Einzelpersonen, Familien und Gruppen.
Skills
- Abschluss in Sozialer Arbeit (FH/HF) oder vergleichbare Ausbildung.
- Christliche Grundhaltung und Wertschätzung der katholischen Kirche.
- Selbständige, verantwortungsbewusste und teamfähige Arbeitsweise.

About the job
The three rural parishes Buttisholz, Grosswangen, and Ettiswil form a well-functioning pastoral area with 7,500 Catholics. The people are warm, open, and down-to-earth.From August 1, 2026, or by arrangement, we are looking for a Church Social Worker (50-60%)
Your tasks
• Member of the pastoral area team with professional responsibility for diakonia
• Development and further development of church social work services
• Senior citizen work as well as support in youth work
• Care for people in emergency situations
• Counseling and support for individuals, families, and groups
• Supervision of the Lenten campaign
• Planning and implementation of community-building projects as well as low-threshold offers
• Networking and cooperation with volunteers, committees, and specialist offices
You bring with you
• Degree in Social Work (FH/HF) or sociocultural animation or comparable training
• Christian attitude and appreciation of the Catholic Church
• Independent, responsible, and team-oriented working style
• Openness to people of different origins and life situations
