In this apprenticeship, you develop and design mechanical, electrical and electronic devices, machines and systems. You work with a modern CAD system, create technical drawings and turn ideas into precise plans used for manufacturing. You work closely with development and production departments.
What tasks will you take on?
You will:
- model and design mechanical, electrical and electronic devices, machines and systems
- create technical drawings of components and assemblies as draft, manufacturing or assembly drawings
- adapt and optimise existing technical drawings
- develop detailed designs using the CAD system
What do we expect from you?
You:
- are at intermediate or higher school level
- show good performance in mathematics, technical design and physics
- have an understanding of abstract and technical contexts
- have good logical and analytical thinking skills
- work carefully, concentrated and are a team player
