About the job
The Echaud Foundation is a socio-educational institution that welcomes 80 adults with multiple disabilities or medically recognised severe cerebral palsy, often also presenting various associated disorders and impairments. To complete an educational team at our Rue Neuve apartment located in Cugy (VD), where a particular emphasis is placed on social integration, we are looking for immediate or agreed start date for:
ES, HES or ASE Educators at 90%
The Position:
- Work within an educational team composed of people from different training backgrounds.
- Provide daily support, including weekends on a rota basis, to 6 beneficiaries individually and collectively, to provide them with comfort and quality of life.
- Administer delegated medical-technical care related to the level of training, under the responsibility of a nurse.
- Participate in the preparation and serving of meals and the general upkeep of the living area.
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and monitor educational projects and therapeutic programmes for the beneficiaries.
- Organise leisure activities, outings, camps and external activities with the beneficiaries.
- Participate in educational conferences and intersectoral networks.
- Collaborate with families, legal representatives, specialists and various partners.
- Manage administrative tasks related to the beneficiaries and the educational team.
The Profile:
- HES or ES diploma in social education or CFC as a socio-educational assistant committed to enriching beneficiary support through diverse and complementary backgrounds.
- Interest in multiple disabilities, hygiene and comfort care.
- Ease in teamwork, organisation and reliability, autonomy.
- Good computer skills.
- Driving licence.
