Water supply
Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a committed successor as Head of Logistics from 1 January 2027 (or by arrangement). In this key position, you will lead around 11 directly reporting employees and manage the entire logistics chain. You are responsible for ensuring that all required materials, spare parts and operating resources are always in the right place at the right time.
Tasks
- Warehouse and inventory management as well as procurement: You manage the central and external warehouse and ensure the availability of critical materials and operating resources. You are responsible for demand-oriented procurement of materials and services in accordance with the applicable tendering and procurement regulations and ensure legally compliant awarding.
- Fleet and transport management: You are responsible for planning and scheduling all internal and external transports as well as the management, maintenance and further development of our vehicle fleet.
- Process optimisation and digitalisation: You optimise logistical processes, define standards and drive forward the digitalisation of logistics operations.
- Organisation and administration: You support event planning regarding infrastructure and logistics, assist your team with facility services at Hardhof and contribute to budget planning.
- Occupational safety and environment: You ensure compliance with safety, environmental and health regulations and are responsible for the proper and environmentally compliant disposal of materials and waste. In addition, you ensure the availability of work clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Profile
- Training as a logistics specialist EFZ, commercial clerk EFZ or in a technical profession with solid experience in procurement or logistics; further training in logistics, supply chain management, purchasing or business administration
- Several years of leadership experience in warehouse management, logistics, procurement or materials management
- You have a flair for actively shaping change and optimisation processes, driving new solutions forward and involving employees along the way
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP knowledge is a great advantage
- Driving licence category B
