For our client active in the Fribourg region, we are looking for a workshop position:
Multi-Process Welder (121 / 122 / 135 PF)
Your responsibilities
Repair & Adjustments:
Prepare joints, chamfers and abutments (grinding, tack welding).
Adjust welding parameters (current, voltage, wire/feed speed, gas flow, flux height).
Apply preheating and interpass temperature instructions (control with pyrometer/thermal pen).
Perform root pass and filling in PF position with 135.
Carry out overlay/cladding operations (122) or large butt weld fillings (121) on positioner, lathe or automatic bench.
Carefully clean each pass (grinding of repairs, slag removal).
Using the following processes:
Process 121 / 122 (Submerged Arc Welding - SAW):
121: Submerged arc welding with a single electrode wire.
122: Submerged arc welding with strip electrode.
Implementation: Adjustment and operation of automatic welding benches or welding beams, flux control, preheating management, slag removal and inspection of multi-pass weld bead appearance.
Process 135 (MIG/MAG with solid wire) – PF Position:
Gas-shielded active welding (MAG) with solid wire (carbon steel, aluminium or stainless steel).
PF Position (ISO 6947): Vertical up welding. Requires excellent control of the weld pool, technique, root penetration and control of sagging or undercuts.

Welder qualifications up to date according to ISO 9606-1 (or ISO 9606-2 / ASME IX depending on the sector).
Specific validations:
Authorisations / Certifications (QS):
135 PF (Solid wire, vertical up, usually with repair or on strip).
121 / 122 (Welder operator according to ISO 14732).
Technical know-how:
Reading technical drawings and welding symbols (ISO 2553).
Strict compliance with the WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).
Rigour in traceability of materials and consumables (flux drying, wire storage).
