Clerical Staff Member at the Plessur Regional Court

The Plessur Regional Court is a court of first instance for civil and criminal matters based in Chur. It also includes the cantonal enforcement court as well as the mediation office with the conciliation authority for tenancy matters in the Plessur region. The caseload is approximately 2,200 cases per year (including cases of the enforcement court), which are managed administratively by the court registry with ten staff members.
Due to retirement as of 1 January 2027 or by agreement, we are seeking a clerical staff member for the Plessur Regional Court.

Your area of responsibility
- Administrative case management from case receipt to billing and archiving (handling mail, monitoring deadlines and costs, general communication with parties, lawyers and authorities, etc.)
- Organisation and follow-up of hearings, sessions and interrogations
- Independent drafting of various correspondence, procedural orders and decisions
- Telephone and counter service
What we expect from you
- Completed commercial basic training (further training in the paralegal field is an advantage)
- Ideally professional experience at a court, in a law firm or in public administration
- Very good knowledge of German, knowledge of Italian is an advantage
- Structured, forward-looking, independent and precise way of working
- Team-oriented, reliable and positive personality
- Willingness to take on on-call duties
