Job Description
The diverse apprenticeship for doers who understand and implement media.
As a Mediamatiker EFZ, your focus is on designing and creatively implementing multimedia content. You work with modern ICT tools and support projects in visual communication and internal media production. Among other things, you will learn to:
- Design various media products, such as posters, flyers, websites, animations or presentations
- Take and edit photos
- Create and edit videos, e.g. for social media or internal platforms
- Participate in projects – from planning to presenting the results
The training lasts four years and is divided into several phases. In the first year, you will undergo basic training and be taught by specialists in design, photography, video and web design. Afterwards, you will rotate between internal and external placements, getting to know the profession from different perspectives.
Profile
You are enthusiastic about new technologies, media and forms of communication. You are sociable, communicative and actively contribute to the team. Thanks to your quick comprehension, concentration skills and creativity, you are always able to learn new things and think "out of the box".
You need a compulsory school leaving certificate for this apprenticeship and good grades in the following subjects:
- Mathematics
- German
- English

- Show your creativity – e.g. photographs, illustrations, graphics, videos, animations or websites
- Choose a project that is particularly important to you and briefly describe your approach

- Length of max. 8–10 pages, maximum 100 MB
- The use of AI should be declared accordingly
