The IV Office of the Canton of Bern is undergoing change and is focusing on a modern corporate and leadership culture. We want to align our actions more closely with the needs of our customers and advance digitalisation. What you can achieve with us
- In consultation with the integration case manager, you clarify entitlement to pension benefits in parallel with integration. You orient yourself to the individual life situations and resources of the customers.
- You act reliably and independently by using your scope for action in favour of the customers.
- With empathy and a solution-oriented attitude, you maintain dialogue with internal and external partners and jointly develop effective solutions.
- In the end, you ensure that pension entitlements are clarified quickly and in accordance with the law – with comprehensible decisions.
Which skills are important to us
- You have a federal diploma as a social insurance specialist or are willing to complete this further training.
- You are highly service-oriented and have already demonstrated this in the benefits area of a social or personal insurance.
- You like to take responsibility and seek personal contact.
- Your training as a social insurance specialist with a federal diploma enables you to understand situations holistically and classify them legally correctly.
- You organise yourself independently and efficiently.
- In personal and written communication, you communicate clearly, understandably and comprehensibly, which builds trust.
- With your constructive and respectful behaviour, you contribute to a good team climate.
- We are a bilingual (German-French) company, so good knowledge of the respective other language is an advantage.

- Working hours
Annual working time (42 hours/week), possibility to work part-time as well as remotely, paid breaks
- Holidays
At least 25 days of holiday per year, 28 days from the age of 45 and 33 days from the age of 55. Possibility of unpaid leave

Cantonal salary system, gender-neutral and comprehensible salary policy. Full salary during parental leave, military, civil protection and civilian service
