- Responsible for the operation, monitoring and further development of pre-production environments for safety-critical systems and applications
- Ensuring a stable and efficient system landscape during the integration and quality phase before production release
- Administering and operating Linux-based systems as well as containerised platforms based on Kubernetes
- Configuring, monitoring and optimising network components and communication infrastructures in the Cisco environment
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation as well as supporting the continuous improvement of operational processes
- Participating in incident, problem and change management (1st, 2nd and 3rd level support)
What you bring with you
- Training or higher vocational education in the field of computer science or several years of practical experience as a system administrator
- Experience in operating and administering Linux systems
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments
- Good knowledge of network environments, preferably with Cisco technologies
- Understanding of integration, testing and operational processes in complex ICT environments
- Experience with automation and scripting languages is an advantage
- Independent personality with strong communication and organisational skills
- High customer and service orientation as well as sensitivity to user needs
- Very good German skills as well as English skills (Level B1-B2)
- Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
